Chenega Federal Systems (CFS) is an 8(a) Alaska Native-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business based in Lorton, Virginia. CFS is a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation formed under the laws of the Alaska Native
Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).

CFS is a fully cleared, professional services provider focusing in the Defense, Intelligence and Advanced Technology sectors of the federal government. Our corporate headquarters is located in Anchorage, Alaska; our line operations are managed from our office in Lorton, Virginia. We currently have facilities and personnel at multiple locations in Northern Virginia and Norfolk, Virginia, as well as offices in six states plus Asia, Europe, Caribbean, Latin America and the Middle East.

Since beginning operations in spring of 2005, CFS has been growing at a phenomenal rate. In April 2005 we had 3 employees; by the end calendar year 2005, CFS had over 100 employees with continued aggressive growth projected over the course of the coming fiscal year. Revenues for 2005 were approximately $1M; revenues for 2006 were approximately $34M; and projected revenues for 2007 are expected to surpass $68M. In order to manage this aggressive growth rate, CFS has secured a substantial line of credit from the National Bank of Alaska (Wells Fargo), which ensures our ability to meet our financial requirements and support continued rapid growth. CFS has a full professional staff to support corporate operations in the following areas: finance; contracts management; security management; human resources; network support. CFS uses the CostPoint ® software application for financial reporting and contracts management.

CFS will capitalize on our parent corporation’s extensive experience and exposure to the various Department of Defense organizations, as well as other federal agencies as a springboard to utilize the benefits and advantages afforded to us under the SBA 8(a) program.
