Summary: Provides functional and technical direction in the design, development, acquisition, production, fielding and post deployment support of Government programs. Supports the Government in overall product management policies, plans, requirements, execution, control and direction of the work and associated resources involved in providing life-cycle management.

- Provide design, development, acquisition, production, fielding and post deployment support of Government programs
- Provide total life cycle acquisition management oversight.
- Develop, support, update, and maintain acquisition program baseline and other acquisition documentation;
- Provide independent assessments of technical, financial, or programmatic issues;
- Provide advice and assistance on acquisition matters;
- Prepare representative program briefing packages for the Government.
- Serve as the Government’s single point of contract for all contractor operations and support as the Task Lead.
- Handle the day-to-day management and administration of project tasks; develop detailed work plans and schedules; assign staff responsibilities and supervise all staff efforts; and utilize, control and redirect available resources as necessary to complete tasks in accordance with scheduled milestones and budgetary constraints.
- Perform quality checks of all work products and interact continually with Government COR and any appointed Technical Representatives (TR) to present interim results, discuss concerns, and ensure total product/service satisfaction.
- Due to the dynamic nature of the requirements the Task Lead should also manage the contractor support workforce in order to match the ebb and flow of the specific skills required for the requirements as they arise
Supervision: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Acquisition, Contracting or related discipline)
- Min Years of Experience: 10 years
