Chenega Federal Systems presented Azalea Charities with a check for $46,975 on July 29, 2011 to Aid for Wounded Warriors as the total contribution from the 5th Annual Chenega Invitational back in May.

CFS is incredibly grateful to all of the sponsors and contributors who made this event possible. The money collected this year will go towards Aid for Wounded Warriors , which aims to lift the spirits and enhance the morale of military men and women who have been injured in the line of duty. Half of the proceeds will also go to an adopted project by Azalea called “Home for a Hero” to build a specialized home for Wounded Warrior Jay Briseno and his parents. At the tournament, special guest Joe Briseno, Jay’s Father, expressed his deepest appreciation to Azalea and to CFS for the support the donated funds will provide.
